Angels are ministering spirits sent by God to minister for us. That means they’re at your service, though you may not see them with your physical eyes. God has given His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.
Through prayers we can actually change things. We can change the course of our lives and our circumstances. It gives us the reason to be hopeful and believe that anything, absolutely anything, is possible!
In the Church, you’re taught the Word of God to build you up spiritually, and to build your faith strong. The Word of God is the will and wisdom of God. To be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom, is to be filled with His Word.
As Christians, we don’t need an intermediary between us and the Father. Hence we don’t pray to the Father through Jesus, but in the Name of Jesus. When you pray to the Father in the Name of Jesus, it’s as though Jesus Himself were praying, because you stand in His stead.
People everywhere are hungry for love, acceptance, and forgiveness. People of every age and walk of life need genuine, caring relationships. However some of God’s children have lost confidence in each other for reasons related to past disappointments.
You must take whatever God says about you as absolute truth. His Word says you’re dead to sin, therefore refuse to let sin dominate you: “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace” (Romans 6:14).
The Holy Spirit of God is not some smoke or cloud, nor is He a light. He is not a thing! The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Godhead. Why do we call Him the third Person of the Godhead when, in fact, He’s the first Person to be revealed in the Scriptures? This is because He’s the last of the Trinity to be known by us.
2 Chronicles 20 gives the inspiring account of how the children of Judah were surrounded and outnumbered by three enemy nations. As they sang and praised God, the power of God was activated, and their enemies were discomfited! They praised their way to victory!
